They buy cacao beans of high quality to preserve every origins individual taste profile as much as possible when making the chocolate. Therefore, they slow-roast at low temperature to develop each origin in its own unique way. A good roast will develop the complexity of flavors while keeping it in balance, giving a long and clean aftertaste.

Licorice is definitely a favorite in Sweden. So Standout decided to combine cacao from Öko Caribe in Dom. Rep, the best liquorice from Calabria in Italy, and unrefined sea salt that has been smoked for about 5-6 days using pure beech wood shavings. The result is a full-bodied and well-balanced bar, with a long and clean aftertaste.
